GENETICAL PRESERVATION AND STORAGE OF BOSQUES
Food security on the planet is at stake because of poor land use, over-population, land use change of highly productive plots, destruction of ecosystems and abuse of agrochemicals. That is why we have chosen to seek to contribute to the conservation of forests in order to preserve the genetic information that is in them, since this is the quality of our products. To achieve this, we need our work to go hand in hand with the cocoa producers of the Awajún Community, who understand the importance of the conservation of the fine cocoa of the Wajún aroma and are the guardians of our forests. On the other hand, our approach is to respect the balance of the ecosystem where we seek to take advantage of resources, understanding that it is a closed system that does not require man's hand to create wonders.
AGRICULTURAL CAPACITATION
As part of sustainability, from Elemento Chocolates we seek to improve the quality of life of producer families through fair trade, resource transformation and ongoing training. Through improvements in their living conditions, we allow the community to remain alive in their ancestral traditions and preserve their culture, without forcing them to change their habits.
